For the second edition of Radicepura Garden Festival 2019 some young project designers have been selected to create 10 gardens that will be realised inthe botanical park of Radicepura during the event.
The theme of the festival and the call are “Productive Gardens“, to be understood as well-being elements for Human beings, through fruit, oxygen, perfumes and feeling productions , succeeding in that manner to enhance the quality of life in spaces and their perception. The call was open to artists, designers, engineers, agronomists and botanists under 35, it provides for the design of gardens between 30 and 50 square meters that focuses creatively on the festival, but which message remains close to the other gardens created by the international renowned garden designers.
The competitors will have the opportunity to express their creativity, using the most original plants grown at Piante Faro nursery, counting 800 species including tropical, succulent and aromatic plants, Mediterranean trees and citrus.
From April to October 2019 it will be possible to visit Radicepura botanical park with the gardens and installations created for the event.
