The artist Lucia Scuderi, author and illustrator of several books, will show the participants some of the most unconventional tecniques to draw with watercolurs colourful plants and flowers.
There will be a one-hour lunch break during which attendees may have their packed lunch at the bar or in the food area.
Lucia Scuderi lives and works in Catania.
She has written and illustrated children’s books with various Italian publishing houses specialized in Children’s books, Fatatrac (Firenze) , Bohem Press, Editori Riuniti, Salani, Treccani , Colors Edizioni , Campanotto, Filo, Musei di Nervi, Città Aperta, Rizzoli and foreign ones in Switzerland, Germany, USA , France, Spain, Japan, Slovenia, Netherlands.
She has taken part to many prestigious collective exhibitions both in Italy and abroad, and has had many recognitions such as, in 2004, the Andersen award “Best illustrated book” for “Rhino”.
For sixteen years she has been working with children’s literature, illustrations, education to imagery, visual and graphic communication. She holds courses on education to imagery and on how to make a book, both with children and adults. She paints, builds, moulds, plans.
