The workshop will explore the design issues to consider when editing an existing mature garden. Sarah Eberle will help attendees refine all the analytical skills involved when dealing with an important, historic garden that requires management or re-development. Also, participants will learn to develop confidence in identifying the key elements that define the character of the garden and its genius loci.
Requirements: pencils, a sketch pad, a phone/camera, and a keen eye!
Costs include the visit at two gardens of Grandi Giardini Network and packed lunch.

Sarah Eberle is one of the most famous garden designers who has been awarded 13 Royal Horticultural Society Gold Medals including Best in Show at both Chelsea in 2007 and Hampton Court in 2003. Sarah has exhibited in New Zeland, Japan, Singapore and Korea.
