Daniela Bruno

PhD in Archaeology, she has been working since 2006 on the topography of ancient Rome collaborating assiduously with Andrea Carandini and his team, at the Sapienza University in Rome, in excavation and research projects merged into numerous scientific publications, from La Casa di Augusto (Laterza 2008) to Atlante di Roma antica (Electa 2012, Princeton University Press 2017). Since 2015 at the FAI-Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, in the role of Head of Valorisation of Heritage, from 2018 as Head of Cultural Affairs and from 2021 as Deputy Director General of the FAI for Cultural Affairs, she takes care of all the Foundation’s cultural projects, contributing to the development and promotion of the strategy of cultural heritage management characteristic of the FAI, which aims to combine knowledge, protection and conservation with the desire to disseminate to a wide audience and with the needs of economic sustainability of a non -subsidiary profit of the State.

Dal 2015 presso il FAI-Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, nel ruolo di Responsabile della Valorizzazione dei Beni, dal 2018 come Responsabile degli Affari Culturali e dal 2021 come Vice Direttrice Generale del FAI per gli Affari Culturali, cura tutti i progetti culturali della Fondazione, contribuendo a sviluppare e promuovere la strategia di gestione dei beni culturali caratteristica del FAI, che mira a coniugare conoscenza, tutela e conservazione con la volontà di disseminazione presso un ampio pubblico e con le necessità di sostenibilità economica di un ente non-profit sussidiario dello Stato.
